More photographs from La Otra Salsa Restobar. This is a very typical dish,
la causa, which is made of layers of yellow potato and, in this case, shrimp salad. It is said that it was named during the Pacific War against Chile as a good "cause" for soldiers to defend Peru. I also heard that Generals Bolivar and San Martín coined it after a delicious meal.
